Abstract
The article analyzes the main socio-political, economic, and spiritual-cultural challenges faced by Uzbekistan in 2017-2025. Particular attention is paid to the methodological significance of the principle of general philosophical determinism in understanding the role of civil society institutions in the process of reform and modernization of the country, as well as the cause-and-effect relationships in social development. The idea that the sustainable development of Uzbekistan is determined by the complex interaction of state reforms and civil society activity is substantiated.
