Abstract
The article examines the development directions of transport infrastructure based on alternative fuels in the Republic of Uzbekistan under the conditions of the energy transition and increasing environmental requirements. The role of electric and gas-powered transport as key instruments for reducing anthropogenic environmental impact and enhancing the energy efficiency of the transport sector is analyzed. The relevance of a comprehensive assessment of infrastructure readiness and the economic feasibility of implementing these technologies is justified.
