Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Articles

Global Journal of Innovation and Studies in Interdisciplinary Research adheres to a strict policy for the organization and publication of articles in each issue. The following guidelines outline the types of articles we accept and the criteria for each section:

Types of Articles Accepted:

  1. Original Research Articles

    • Detailed studies reporting novel research findings across all disciplines.

    • Articles must present original data, methodology, and analysis.

  2. Review Articles

    • Comprehensive overviews of specific topics or fields of research, summarizing current trends, theories, and findings.

    • Authors must provide a critical evaluation of existing literature and future research directions.

  3. Case Studies

    • Reports based on real-world scenarios or specific examples, highlighting practical applications of research.

    • Case studies should be well-documented with insights and conclusions relevant to the academic community.

  4. Short Communications

    • Brief articles reporting important findings that merit rapid dissemination.

    • Typically less than 3,000 words, including concise research outcomes, methodology, and analysis.

  5. Commentaries and Opinion Pieces

    • Thought-provoking articles discussing trends, challenges, or future directions in a specific area of research.

    • These articles are meant to stimulate dialogue and discussion within the academic community.

Submission Guidelines for Article Sections:

  • Research articles must include a clear hypothesis, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions.

  • Review articles should include a thorough literature review, critical analysis, and a summary of current challenges and future research gaps.

  • Case studies should detail specific issues, solutions, and outcomes with relevant citations.

  • Short communications must be focused, concise, and impactful, summarizing findings in a clear, direct format.

  • Commentaries and Opinion Pieces should offer a unique perspective or analysis and encourage further scholarly discourse.

Editorial Criteria:

  • All articles will undergo a double-blind peer review process.

  • Articles should be aligned with the journal’s scope and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in their respective fields.

  • Submissions must meet our ethical standards for research, including proper citation, avoiding plagiarism, and adherence to publication ethics.
